Bandaluthia Gus

Gus Rinjaad.

Gus was born 31 years ago in Ambervale. His father, Jeremiah, was a blacksmith, and his mother, Lucinda, a tanner. The Rinjaad family moved to Bandaluthia from Southern-middle Jonger some six generations ago. Lucinda’s family are newer to the area and her family, Bakary, moved just two generations ago. The family Rinjaad were not poor, but they were by no means wealthy. Gus has 2 older brothers and a younger sister. His brothers are in the Palanthian Army while his sister resides at the Kings leisure in Finsbury.
Gus showed little skills for his fathers business, but had flair for leatherwork. Gus joined the Bandaluthian Town Guard for The Plenns but lasted just 2 years. His refusal to conform to uniform, weaponry and the law made him a target for his officers. Gus eventually maimed the Lieutenant of The Plenns and served 4 years on Finsbury. On his return to Bandaluthia, Gus took to the bottle, and was hired as a ‘heavy’ for some local bullies in Ruhlberg. It was here that Gus had an epiphany through the bottom of his brandy bottle. He was used by his employer to go and beat up a local shop keeper. The shop keeper had not paid protection and his employer wanted to see blood. The owner of the shop was an old Indalan man, who weighed about as much as one of Gus’ arms. Gus refused to beat on the old man, so his angry employer did. Unfortunately for Gus’ employer, the old mans grandson was unloading a delivery cart out the back, and the grandson rushed in and killed Gus’ employer. The Grandson was Raj, and as Raj was about to take on Gus, the shop keeper stopped Raj and said what had happened. Raj was an honourable man and became friends with Gus. Raj helped Gus to fight the inner demons of drink, and showed the value of family.
Gus returned home and helped his mother to revitalise her business, by incorporating his father’s metal work to his mother’s leather. His parents now have an armoury shop in the Plenns specialising in studded leather, and more specific pieces which is made to order.
Gus started to work with Raj on protection jobs, and the two made money which each ploughed into their respective family enterprises. Gus now has joined The Animals and is making more money than he ever has.

Gus stands at 6ft 8in weighs 350lb. He has dark brown eyes and shaves his head to hide the fact that he is balding. A is an amiable man with a deep deep voice, with a very deep “HO HO HO” for a laugh.
