Greeting all! I am posting to see if anyone would like to join a new Saturday pathfinder game, playing the Shattered Star adventure path. There are currently 2 players, so 2-3 places left, running 2 till 6 pm (ish) fortnightly at Vague Connections.

Kieran's artefact is the Shard of Greed, which provides:
Haste (CL20) 1/day, +2 vs Transmutation spells, +1 on all attack rolls and +2 enhancement to Strength. This can now go to someone else for the meanwhile.

Is it worth getting a Bracelet of Friends, just in case we get separated? Or shall I just be selfish and get myself lots of magical items? :-D

i spent me moneys, and cherry i got you a metamagic rod lesser one of selective spell, ignores 4 targets from area effect of instantaneous spells, mainly relates to lightning bolt and fireball. bracelet of friends seems cool but is very expensive. you could save for a quicken metamagic rod, 35,000 for levels 1-3

Sorry for the late reply, been a bit busy over the weekend and I was waiting for some news about next weekend before posting.

Next weekend is still on. We have a choice between running a module and testing some of the new classes out, playing a different game altogether, or maybe something else, if anyone has any suggestions.

Let me know what you want to do, I'm happy with anything to be honest.

Cool, I've found a nice module, that'll also lead into the next Shattered Star book. It's only level 1, but I figure we can do a higher one the following session before starting the next book next year.

So, for the coming session, would everyone attending like to make level 1 characters using the Advanced Class Guide beta (available free from Paizo. The Arcanist has already been ditched by the devs, but you can play it if you really want to.)

20 point-buy, 150gp, any Pathfinder feats/traits/equipment/etc.
Most races are Ok, check if you want something interesting.

Let me know if you need help.

EDIT: I've just noticed that they've released an revised Arcanist, so if you want to play, best used this > LINK

probably going for an investigator. ratfolk i guess, as i want to try this race out, its a 9 point race so not unbalanced.

Righto, I've found an interesting and hopefully fun society scenario to run. It's not particularly festive related, but I don't think any are.

For those of you who have characters, feel free to build to level 7 using the randomly generated stats. Wealth-by-level puts you at 23,500gp to spend. I'm going to limit it to no more than 30% (7050gp) on any one item, and no more than 5% (1175gp) on consumables (wands, potions, scrolls, etc) in total, just to get a bit of balance. Other than that, go wild.

Cherry, since you missed last session, a quick catch up. As a fun event before Christmas, we rolled random race, class and stats for the coming session. If you're still able to make the next session, do you want to pop by a bit earlier to roll up and get a character sorted? Then hopefully we can start early (bearing in mind we now start at 3:30)

any chance i could have a +2 equivalent weapon? a keen rapier isn't so unreasonable at 7th is it? am a fighter type after all.

Ok, a couple of you have mentioned buying +2 weapons, which, to be honest, is pretty reasonable and I didn't really consider it. So the limit is being upped to 9k gp.
