These customers, ringing me and wanting me to solve their problems at inconvenient times. No consideration these paying customers.
I was just about to post a welcome note to you and you got there first. Well it shows keen. I hope we can help connect you with a game soon. In the mean time, the Monthly Big Meet has moved to Leicester (The Barley Mow) as our old spiritual home went all pear shaped after the new owners took over. Over seven years of tradition down the drain.
Leicester will be a little further for you to travel than Derby/Nottingham, but the opportunity to move the Big Meet to a place run by someone who has always been supportive in the past, at a venue that rivals the old one for travelling convenience, closer to where all the long term attendees lived, was a no-brainer really, once the Brunswick started wanting to charge more for less.
As always, I recommend that you can't do better than attend the December Big Meet. It will put you in touch with people who may be able to help you get into a game.
