Dear Members,
I believe it is my duty to defend this site from evil LARPers.
These people are dangerous, as stated by TSR's code of Ethics from "back in the days".
This code, originally designed to keep the oh-so-easy-to-pervert American gamer from coming to harm, precisely stated:
18: LIVE ACTION ROLE-PLAYING
''It is TSR policy to not support any live action role-playing game system,
no matter how nonviolent the style of gaming is said to be. TSR
recognizes the physical dangers of live action role-playing that promotes
its participants to do more than simply imagine in their minds what their
characters are doing, and does not wish any game to be harmful.''
LARPers are known to sacrifice their first-born to demonic forces for "fun" or "roleplaying". They do so with plastic foam or rubbery sword implements, which makes it a crime even more heinous and painful than using a standard, well sharpened, kitchen knife as was the case for D&D back in the 80s.
