While we and they are not technically related, there is much inter-relationship.

Believe the pit lot are vampire larpers

the sal lot are LRPers

it's very cliquey and you have to deal with characters whom have been established for years. Thus making new players feel unwelcome, but they are a nice bunch when you get to know them and do stuff.

i know the lot in the Sal there vampires and i know couple people that help run it so could always put you i touch with them, there 2 larps groups in derby one has start only up to it 5th game your playing the game is hunter you play the good people who try stop all this supernatural stuff vampire,ghost,gouls etc.

the other group is vampire who not started up yet plan to start oct/nov there got meeting towards end of month for character gen both derby game i know people runing can put you in touch with both.

i know of couple other sword wielding system as well, i used play in fools& heroes with some the notts lot

Vague is now running a WoD LRP in the store every other week. Set in 1982 America in a East coast town of Direston (don't look for it on the map it was never there :P) the Camarilla have become an acting force once again what with the organisational skills of various fractions.

Should you wish to join this game its realativly new so no high powered characters. It's still in the opening stages so you can get in while things are just starting to kick off.

Using the table top system (I've never really got on with MET) and the basement at Vague we are still looking for new players and enthusatic people to join if you do wish to join please feel free to join up.

Thanks for all the responses, I know someone in the Sal Vampire lot as well, We were hoping to find sword-weilding fun 1982 seems a bit modern for a fantasy game 8) Unfortunately weekends are a bit of a problem for us as well due to evening commitments.
