I've just picked up the Savage Worlds rules (http://www.peginc.com/) has anyone run or played this before? I've only had a quick squizz but it looks like a nice system and the 'Weird Wars' setting appeals.

I might know a bit about savage worlds... I'm not as up to date as once I was and perhaps even a little rusty but I've run and played a heck of a lot for it. And written the odd book or two too. I remember when I first got it I thought the rules looked a bit iffy, I thought a number of things wouldn't work very well in play - give it chance to shine before kit bashing is my top tip.

The more I read the more I like, it'll be a while before I get around to doing anything with it but it looks fun.

I was the in house rules guru for savage mojo for a long time. The books I had the most involvement with were Savage Suzerain and Shanghai Vampocalypse.
