The December 2012 Big Meet

Laurent posts: 1029 United Kingdom

Dear Members,

This is the discussion thread for our December 2012 Big Meet.

Obviously, you need to have a look at:

The December 2012 Social

The Afternoon Session

The Evening Session

You are:

A player.

  • Discuss the games on offer, what you need to prepare, anything really.
  • Ask kindly if someone else could run a game for you. Demand could create offer after all.

A GM

  • Describe the game you want to play here in addition to what is to be found on your game page.
  • Ask for advice on how to format your game page.
  • Ask the Organising Team member in charge of the event to put your game on the sign up page and linkify everything that needs be linkified, such as a particular game thread in the forum or your game page for instance. Members of the Organising Team should be able to modify the calendar event and tracker pages to include their own games, but I can do it for them too if need be.

A new member or a simple observer.

We do not bite, so post away.

And for all of the above, you can discuss transport issues here too.

This is the original post, people are invited to propose games as soon as possible to allow players some choice and time to make up their minds.

F.A.Q.?

There is a page of general information about The Big Meet yes.

Hint.

"No game, thus no play makes us pretty dull boys" (and girls), so do not be shy and run something!

Sticky.

This thread will remain as a "sticky" until the December Big Meet has passed, then it will become a normal thread again. After that, you will still be able to comment on the event, but entropy should ensure the thread's slow death and let the newer thread for the current Big Meet take centre stage.

I will be there. Hopefully the Ch ch ch will be made with meat that passes the chef's (John) stringent standards. However, the SHTCHOO was pretty damn fine with its 70% beer constituents.

I will happily play my Druid again in Demon Web Pits if Josh has it on offer, but will also have something ready to run too.

Sign me up!
I's bes ready for whatever the Demon Web Pits has to throw at us... you know, as long as its not a few towers of Drow... or a gathering of a bunch of fearsome Demon lords... or Lolth... What's the plan again...? neutral
Oh also, on an unrelated note; can we fix it so that the next battle field is considerably less than 120ft across (or high!). Just a hop, skip and Dimension Door. biggrin

That's assuming the Pits are even open during the Winter! surprised Then again frost-laden spider webs do look pretty.

There should always be room for lots of other fun stuff to occur on this day of meeting bigly! And after all; 'tis the season! Unfortunately the network has denied them another season! eek I blame the Mayans.

I will unfortunately be unable to make it next month. Sad times. :-(

Hope you all have a fun time in the Web of Pit Demons... or whatever. razz

I will of course be offering Demonwebs. :-D

I'll be there. Ready for more webs action and I'll also have at least exodus with me and ready to run, likely a call of cthulhu scenario - the next chapter of red eye and maybe other bits too. Depends on what makes it into the boot of my car really but for sure some rpg stuff and some board games will make it.

I'll be there. If anyone's interested in signing up for a new D&D 3e game I'll be running soon just let me know.

I really need to come up with a cool name for it!

Ooohh... also, I now have Decent: Journeys in the dark 2nd edition ... will bring that with me too in case anyone's interested in a game.

Len posts: 1095 United Kingdom

Nice to have folks eager to run stuff. I need a good time; Sunday fell apart a bit for me. But I'm gonna be there Saturday.
