Thread for the Dying of the light 1st ed WFRP group.

aiming for first session tomorrow night at my house in Ilkeston (one off as the mrs is on nights so I can host much to her displeasure). If not then itll next be on at Bugmans bar at 6.30 p.m till 10 on Thursday 2nd August and then alternate Thursdays same time same place.

You'll all enjoy this (if you like laughing at your character's suffering, if not why are you playing WFRP). This one is a lot of fun, and it's on my "want to run" list... Sadly one cannot unread what has been read :-D

thats a shame stuart as ive only read the first bit but it does look good. Ive plenty of other material you can borrow if you want to run stuff especially if I can play:p I always prefer to be a pc. Stuart you fancy running enemy within from the beginning? I guess there would be bits Id remember but not a lot as Iplayed it 20 years ago up to boganhafen. Ive the whole lot and drachenfels,doomstones (all of them),deaths dark shadow, plus a load of other stuff ive not read as Ive always wanted to play them and never got the chance. I could stop reading the dying....:p

Not to worry old bean, I don't think I can make Thursdays in Notts, and I do have WFRP's The Thousand Thrones campaign to run as well as loads of other 2E stuff. Enjoy your game ;)

stuart id be interested in being a pc in the 1k thrones if/when you decide to run it once of course weve finished our little jaunt in marienburg.

David...goeasy on the party..lol depends on how silly/brave you all decide to be.....could do with getting another player though....

As yet again 1 or more of the group has baled on this Thursday and I'm away in Rhodes next week I think its sensible to call time on the group.

If any of the current group want to organise a group that can actually commit to things (at least all of you make sure you can make the first few sessions of the campaign I mean how the heck are you going to know whats going on....?) then im happy to GM and will be happy to run the adventure but Im not going to go to the effort I have so far for one or more of the current group to not be available etc.

I appreciate we all have lives etc I have an extremely busy work life so if you cant commit to coming to the first few sessions and then 95% of the sessions then I would suggest you dont put yourself forward for the group.
