So for those not in the know voting is open for the ennie awards which is one of the roleplaying industries big awards. So you should check them out, not least to see what is going on out there but to vote for stuff too. Just be warned once you see the lists you might find yourself adding a few items to your personal wish lists smile. The voting page is here, no acount necessary or anything:

www.ennie-awards.com/vote/

And if while you were there you could happen to spare a vote in the best electronic book category for Shanghai Vampocalypse:

I wouldn't mind that at all - I'd love to see something I did significant work on win one these awards. Just getting a nomination is pretty awesome but a win might just blow my mind. And if not Shanghai Vampocalypse I'm sure there is something in there you want to support that will be most happy to have your vote.

I was pleasantly surprised to see a couple of names I recognise in the judges list too. Ron Purvis was one of my AOs when I ran the Worldwide RPG Organisers Meetup group (A great bloke that MUHQ‹spit› chastised for being rude to someone who demanded he change his avatar after he posted an image of himself in uniform on Veterans day.) He ran both the Seattle and New York groups at one time.

I voted for ya stuff Alan, and I voted for Ron & Steve Jackson Games because they are awesome, and because another old meetup friend who has helped me with Armagada has done work for them.

So that you all know, they rightly only allow one vote per IP address, so those sharing a computer might want to discuss their votes before voting. (As a result, I can't now check the spelling of Ron's name and R0n, I know is not the name he used on most forums, that was just his meetup moniker.)

I have suggested "Meetup" for the BEST COMPANY EVAH TO HELP PEOPLE PLAY D&D" mrgreen

Laurent, I do hope you remembered the pinch of salt to take with that. lol
I made some very good lasting friendships on meetup. cool The community itself is usually excellent.biggrin The organiser community were helpful and intelligent on the whole before the exodus. They still are, just not all on meetup. eek The management however leaves everything to be desired. evil

Ta - there are no shortage of goodies in the list. I certainly spared some votes Arc Dream because they make some very fine Call of Cthulhu stuffs and a few other folks too. The L5R edition is a most handsome edition and has had some shining reviews too - I've been sore tempted to pick it up more than once.
