A new game starting up in Derby is seeking players. The system is Rogue Trader (set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe for those who are familiar with the setting) and the game will hopefully be starting up very soon.

The initial get-together of players to discuss characters and do some character generation is scheduled for this Saturday (18th June), so shout out if you're interested. Continuing sessions will likely be on a fairly ad-hoc basis, so scheduling might have to be flexible.

Experience with roleplaying in general, the system or setting is NOT required. The GM will be Josh (Paladin on these boards). Timing of the first session will be decided once all the players are together in the same room. We're currently looking for a group of between 3-5 players.

Anyone interested, shout out now! If you're interested and can't make the character gen session, shout out anyway and we'll likely be able to sort something out.

I'm actually sort of interested in this. It will depend on times though, I'm in a couple of other games (I think Dan is in them too, so shouldn't be an issue) and if it is on Tuesdays/Wednesdays then I'm going to have issues getting to Derby on time.

As GM, I should probably post. :P I'm flexible as to playing, with the exception of Monday or Wednesday nights.

But yes, I'm very much looking forward to playing with people, so shout out if you are remotely interested. :-D

As far as I know so far, playing times are going to have to be somewhat ad-hoc as at least my own schedule varies massively.

If it's a small group, though, hopefully we should be able to work out reasonably regular playing times between us without too many clashes.

It can be my place for this Saturday, though I continue to have reservations about the suitableness of my flat for continued play.

Nevertheless, if anyone who wants to come along on Saturday and doesn't know where I live already could send me a PM, I'll send them my address and phone number.

Timing-wise, should we say 1pm on Saturday?

I'm in agreement with you Dan, regarding the suitability of your place for the game, and we can have a chat with everyone come the Saturday about a better locale. :-)

Well, that was very entertaining. :-D

Now, I know we were considering Thursday -day- but I miscalculated. :P I'll be in Northampton come Wednesday late night.

Thus, from here on out, I am free Sunday Day/Night, Monday Day, Tuesday Day/Night and Wednesday Day. :-)

Narf. It seems as though once again the tyrannical Gods of Work do not want me to have my funsies pulling handbrake turns in several megatonnes of starship. My rough availability for the next two weeks:

Monday 20th: Evening
Tuesday 21st: None
Wednesday 22nd: All
Thursday 23rd: Day
Friday 24th: All
Saturday 25th: Day
Sunday 26th - Wednesday 29th: None
Thursday 30th - Friday 1st: Day
Saturday 2nd: None
Sunday 3rd: All

The only opportunity I can see during this week is for Wednesday daytime. A possibility?
