This is the discussion thread for our December 2010 Big Meet.

Obviously, you need to have a look at:

The December Social

The Afternoon Session

The Evening Session

You are:

A player.

Discuss the games on offer, what you need to prepare, anything really.

A GM.

Describe the game you want to play here in addition to what is to be found on your game page.
Ask for advice on how to format your game page.
Ask the Organising Team member in charge of the event to put your game on the sign up page and linkify everything that needs be linkified, such as a particular game thread in the forum or your game page for instance. Members of the Organising Team should be able to modify the calendar event and tracker pages to include their own games, but I can do it for them too if need be.

A new member or a simple observer.

We do not bite, so post away.

And for all of the above, you can discuss transport issues here too.

This is the original post, people are invited to propose games as soon as possible to allow players some choice and time to make up their minds.

Hint.

"No game, thus no play makes us pretty dull boys" (and girls), so do not be shy and run something!

This thread will remain as a "sticky" until the December Big Meet has passed, then it will become a normal thread again. After that, you will still be able to comment on the event, but entropy should ensure the thread's slow death and let the following Big Meet one take centre stage.

Though signed up to play Juan Fillipe in the 7 seas and Gram T Wren in Hollows, I will as usual have the Deathmatch stuff with me in case it is required, and a selection of board & card games.

I assume that Seekers of the Ashen Crown is on for December. If not, just withdraw it by changing the game name to "Game 2".

Lets get this in early, so it can be arranged in plenty of time. biggrin

I will be travelling to Derby from Leicester for this, and usually drive my car there, and back. I can take up to four passengers. All I ask is that you make it easy on me to pick up and drop off. I typically leave Leicester at about noon, to get to Derby at 1:00pm, and I usually stay pretty much till the end. Anyone I take, will naturally get back too.

At this point, all four passenger seats are free. If you want transport, post here too.

An excellent idea is to mark yourself on the member map using your Preferences Link and the Use Google Map Locator link there. You can make it as accurate or generic as your own level of paranoia allows. wink It makes planning things like this a lot easier.
