"We are ready. I am assigning you and your men to the mission on Acacia Avenue this afternoon. Your group are to be third line of defence. You will be positioned opposite the house, to the left as shown. You are not to become involved in anyway with the team inside the house, no matter what you see or hear you are to remain in position. That understood Lance Corporal?"

"Yes Sir, but..."

"We have received information which suggests that a group of people we have had regular dealing with have been residing in the house. They are currently out of Bandaluthia and we are using the opportunity to seize the house. Your men's skills make you ideal as the last line of defence in case any of the occupants decide to run. We have been informed that there are several females who will need to be detained and questioned, some staff of the house but also there are possibly others who have been left behind to defend the property of these lot. We want as few casualties as possible, we all know the guard to do without the reputation. But if any men, who are not with the guard escape the house and run for your exit they are to be taken down, quickly, and with as little bloodshed as your lot can manage. Any problems?"

"Well actually Sir I...."

"Now you need to gather your men, equip them from the armoury and meet the rest in the courtyard within the hour...Why are you still here Jenkins?"

"Forgive me Sir, but I think you must be mistaken, I was put on rest for today, for the family funeral I needed to attend. I am not on duty today, I am sure lance corporal Snead will be more than capable..."

"All rest is cancelled today the entire guard are on duty in Monterey, your family will have to do without you"

"Yes Sir..."

"Shit! Shit! Oh in Pelor's name how am I going to get this sorted within the hour!"

"Right, I will need a taxi to take me to, oh shit where? I cant go straight to 22 because no doubt that is being watched, it'll have to be the Satyr and Sickle, and hope no-one sees me there. I should be fine, I mean if the whole guard is preparing then they should all be doing what I should be, and if they're not, well they are obviously in as deep as me! Oh Pelor, protect me just this once...."

"You know I was supposed to be going to a funeral now, well they've just cancelled all rest for this stupid raid on Acacia Avenue. Well I need to go see my auntie, let her know. She'll be worried ya'see. Well Sarge ain't lettin no-one leave and he needs us all ready to go within the hour...You have to cover me, get the men ready, and make sure no-one is asking where I am. I will be back in time, but you've gotta get me time"

I don't know what you needed me for but I've gotta be there. If I can I'll help from where I am but they'll be watching. If you can get word I'll be stationed opposite and to the left.
