With Ratsel away doing his unofficial masters bidding, the rest of the Animals went shopping and temple visiting. Shaniqua took Hellhound to the guild and bought him some masterwork banded mail. The halflings went to the Temple of Yondalla to get the brave, but injured Doogle medical attention. Whilst there Coolio picked up the body of Abdullah and then enquired about Oberau. Father Imao indicated that any bridge that might have been up has been well and truly burned. Tyven went off by himself to what ever it is that a glaive loving halforc barbarian might do in a big city.
At 22 Acacia Avenue, Thelonius visited to help Shaniqua identify her stolen belongings. Some alarm was created by a ruby, to which Shaniqua got rid of post haste. The ‘four’ turned up and started to stash their gear in their rooms, and the girls turned up periodically. It was decided that by 2 in the afternoon that Naomi was not going to turn up, and that she must have been having trouble leaving her pimp. The girls urged the Animals to go and get her. The Animals recruited the ‘four’ to assist. After a brief discussion of Naomi’s possible whereabouts, it was deemed that she would be at “Amsterdams” in Amateria. Amsterdams is a sex emporium. A strip club with the whole scope for pleasuring people, both male and female. So, the eight went to Amsterdams. Once inside, Vandrel of the four showed that this may not have been his first time in this sort of establishment. Shaniqua proved that this most certainly was. After a few beers and several mojito’s (much to Vic’s dismay, as the group seemingly had no money) and Shaniqua putting a lot of leather cash vouchers into a Chippendalesque buff man, they found out that Naomi was being held downstairs. Vandrel hired a girl and took her downstairs to get jiggy with Shaniqua; Shaniqua’s role was to turn invisible and search the downstairs rooms until Naomi was found. Much to the dismay of Vandrel, Shaniqua found Naomi quick smart. The halfdrow went to tell Vandrel, but he was being ‘serviced’ and did not want to know. Eventually, Shaniqua and, the now frustrated, Vandrel went to get their girl. There was a guard on the door, but that proved no problem as Vandrel pumped 6 bolts into him, and Shaniqua backstabbed with lethal technique. They got Suzie, Vandrel’s whore for the hour, to show them the way out. Vandrel and the unconscious Naomi were put into a taxi and returned to Acacia Ave.
Meanwhile, Shaniqua went back upstairs and encouraged the rest to leave. Slightly suspicious of the swift exit, someone questioned their intentions, but fell foul of some decent bluffing. Outside in the street they became aware of a swarthy looking olive skinned man watching them. Vic told the others to get a taxi quickly, and to go home. The Animals followed this advice and all was well.
At home Coolio went to help the unconscious Naomi, and Vandrel dashed back out to aid his three friends. Antoine convinced Coolio that a stuffed body of a fat North Jongelese guy might not be the sort of ornament that should adorn the parlour, considering the amorous feelings the parlour should entice. Coolio reluctantly agreed to put it up in a ‘trophy’ room. The ‘four’ returned and all seemed well. At least until Jack knocked the door and bade them come to the Satyr. At the Satyr a solemn Gryff showed them into Dave, who took them to an ante-chamber where laid out on a table was Tyven. A dagger protruded from his sternum, which pinned down a card. The card had a capitol H on it. The four Animals stared in shock. There was then talk of swift retaliation. Revenge and war being raged upon the Harker’s spilled out from their mouths.

What would the Animals do to avenge the murder of Tyven?

Local news from Amateria:
Amsterdams suffered murder from within their walls. A guard lay slain and a girl kidnapped. Also at the scene, an Esquillan lay next to the guard. The two obviously battled to the death, but more Esquillan kidnappers escape with the girl. A local Amaterian business man, the owner of Amsterdams, accuses the Esquillan underworld for the outrage, and he swears to protect his business and to retrieve his girl no matter the cost.
