Armagada Responses

Lords (and Ladies) of Quality & Standards, Law & Order, Rock & Roll, Fun & Games, Keenness & Zeal

We, the people of Armagada have received your judgments and would like the opportunity to respond to them. Firstly we could like to take the opportunity to thank you for your time and effort in judging our humble lives on their content and appearence. We now leave it to each person present to address you personally.

Ashley of Fist and Sword,

Leah of Cloak and Dagger,

Joseph of Hoof and Hand,

Jason of Book and Knowledge

Tamuril Seregon:

I would like to address what appears to be three issues with my pages.

1) The Stones - I come from a woodland, while stones are not wood they are part of the natural surroundings from which I came. It seems they were not to the liking of the Gnome but were very much to the liking of others. Perhaps they could band together to change his mind as I am far to inexperienced to take on such a high ranking librarian.

2) My Story - I am unaware that many people have such weapons and history to hand down through their generations, as in my village and so far secluded life the Seregon line is the only one to possess such rich background. My apologies for this monotony, you must have a wonderful and esteemed village which I would dearly like to see.

3) My life - I am afraid you are all quite right. As Rowanfury is beginning to make me see, my history is important to me, but it has been to the detriment of my own identity. I hope that my cuerno will give me this opportunity to find who I am outside of and on top of being Eludilim.

Kor'Ath:

Do not find sadness in my tale, it is not for that reason that I speak so openly. There are people in the world who will take you in and shelter you from the darkness that surrounds us, but when they are taken from this life the darkness seems more suffocating. My story is just a lesson for me and those who hear it to learn from, let no-one in, without light there is no dark and life is more ordinary.

Lúthien Melendur
And, with a bow I shall, humbly thank you all in giving your time and your effort and your attention to our works. I am sure Ileandra would be pleased to hear of what you think, but she is currently indisposed. I have, therefore, taken it upon myself to say my part in response to your kind words.

I would not, ordinarily, put much stock in the words and opinions of humans. You are a strange and evil race to me and though, in the past few weeks, I have come to understand that you are not all the same, there is much repair work to be done before I could ever consider you allies. And gnomes... well, I am yet to find any fault with your people, let us hope that it continues to be so.

However, your overall kindness cannot be overlooked. Besides that, I find myself smiling at the obvious pleasure you seem to glean from Ileandra's">Ileandra's depiction of my life and from your kind comments. So I offer you my thanks and this small token of my appreciation.

It is a small thing, but it was once handed to me by a young elven boy for saving his pet dog from a pack of teasing human boys. It was a small thing, but I kept it just the same. I offer it to you now as a token of thanks.

Ammelath
HA! That Lúthien is a pompous one isn't he! The pig-headed little-! Makes me wonder sometimes... how I can stand working with him. Then again, the rest of them aren't exactly a set of sparkling gems either, if you take my meaning. In fact I almost understand why Lúthien likes Tamuril so much. He'll deny it by the way, but I'm not blind. He's almost in awe of her and how seriously she takes this whole Ceurno nonsense....

Anyway, I obviously want to say thank you. I feel I did quite well from your observations and... I didn't have to threaten or steal from any of you! I don't have any fancy rocks to give you as a token - well, I suppose I do, but I'm not giving them to you! - but I can promise not to steal from you for at least a full month.

Hows that for thanks!

Oh, very well... very well...! Two months.
